2018 Unity Festival

#cefjacksontn – Today was a gorgeous day! God sent us a nice sun filled day with fair temps to setup a promotional tent for CEF. We were invited to come to the festival by one of our ministry friends, Mrs. Yolanda Campbell.  Her church, Historic First Baptist Church, hosted this community event and did an outstanding job welcoming everyone to their campus. They cooked food and fed the crowd, they provided a stage for different people to sing and share music with us, and they showed everyone gracious hospitality. On this occasion, I was joined by my dear wife, Dawn. Many of you know that she has been struggling with chronic health issues for several months, but she has improved a lot and we are very very thankful for that!

We met the church pastor, their youth minister, and missionary. My missionary brother had past experience with CEF in the Memphis area and was a great encouragement to me. I must add that all of their congregation (that we met) were wonderful to be around. Isn’t that the way it should be? Brothers and sisters in Christ sharing life with the community? Amen.

We had two special conversations with members of the church and I pray that they will lead to a possible ministry partnership. Below are a few photos taken at the event.
