2024 Good News Club® Volunteer Appreciation Banquet

Volunteers are the lifeblood of every nonprofit, and CEF of Greater Jackson is blessed with some of the best you could ask for. On Monday, May 13th we held our annual volunteer banquet to honor and thank our incredible volunteers.  

The night began with a meal served by McCaslin’s Northside Catering and special music provided by Pastor Bill Laarz. Following the meal, volunteers who attended were presented certificates of appreciation for their years of service at local Good News Club® locations. Following the presentation of certificates, the group enjoyed a photo slideshow of memories from the 2023-24 school year. At the close of the banquet our chapter director, Randy Nicholas, delivered a message of gratitude and hope to our volunteers that worldwide thousands like them lovingly give their time to share the good news of the Gospel to children in their area.  

During the 2023-24 school year, volunteers at our clubs ministered to 178 children and witnessed 19 professions of faith. All of this would not be possible without the time invested by our volunteers. We cannot wait to see what the Lord has on the horizon for Child Evangelism Fellowship® of Greater Jackson during the 2024-25 school year.  

The school year may have just ended, but we are preparing for Good News Clubs in the fall.
