Week 4 Summer Ministry Recap

Refreshed from a week off our volunteers dove back into sharing the Good News of the Gospel with the children of Greater Jackson. This week we were blessed to have Caleb join us as one of our youth team members.  Throughout the week our teams held clubs at three locations and shared the gospel with 145 children.  

The first location was New St. Luke MB Church in Jackson where Reverend Dennis Barlock, his staff, and congregation welcomed us to participate in their summer camp.  We held two sessions of 5-Day Clubs® each morning and ministered to 65 boys and girls at this location. We thank St. Lukes for the opportunity to pray with and encourage this wonderful group of children.  

After the morning sessions, the team headed to the East Unit Boys & Girls Club in Jackson. At this location, the team held one club each afternoon with 50 boys and girls attending each day. We extend gratitude to Mr. Flomont Anthony and his staff for welcoming us to minister to, encourage, and pray for these boys and girls throughout the week.  

Finally, we had a second team ministering at Wee Care Pre-School in Jackson. Our volunteers were at this location once per day for three days. The team was thrilled to minister to these precious little ones. The group of 25 children was a joy to share the gospel with. Thank you to Lauren Nabors for inviting us to hold a 5-Day Club at Wee Care.
