Ladies Luncheon at Old Country Store

Recently, our chapter invited a group of Christian Women in the Greater Jackson area to join us for an informational luncheon at long-standing Jackson landmark Brooks Shaw’s Old Country Store. They came to learn more about Child Evangelism Fellowship® and our mission to share the Gospel with children throughout the community and the world. Additionally, they got a sneak peek at the details for our upcoming Faith & Family Night annual fall fundraiser.  

Our head of fund development and church relations Dr. Jerry Drace was accompanied by his lovely wife, Becky, as they shared the exciting details for this event. The women in attendance are women of influence in their respective spheres throughout Jackson. Dr. and Mrs. Drace invited the women to consider being local ambassadors within their churches and communities to encourage others to come and hear Pam Tebow and the Stone Brothers bless us with encouragement and gospel music at Faith & Family Night in October this year.   

We will share more details about Faith & Family Night in the coming weeks. We are grateful to Brook’s Shaw and the Staff at the Old Country Store for their hospitality and for providing us with a warm and homey place to host this gathering. If you have not had the opportunity to enjoy the offerings of the country buffet, we encourage you to grab some friends and loved ones and stop by to enjoy the delicious food and welcoming staff. 

Additionally, we extend our sincerest thanks to the ladies for giving us some of their valuable time to hear our story and joining us as ambassadors for CEF® of Greater Jackson. We look forward to working with them to bring the Gospel to the children in the Greater Jackson area and surrounding counties.
