CEF Hires Development, Communication Coordinator
CEF of Greater Jackson has called Marty King as part-time Development and Communication Coordinator. He will help the director plan and implement communication strategies as well as engage current and new donors to CEF.
Marty retired to Jackson from corporate communications leadership with Lifeway Christian Resources in Nashville, the Southern Baptist Convention’s North American Mission Board in Atlanta, and more than 20 years in healthcare communications.
“We love Jackson and the strong Christian community here,” King says. “We consider it a high honor and opportunity to help CEF strengthen its local financial base and communicate clearly so we can partner with area churches in reaching children with the gospel message.”
Marty is a native of Indiana, and has a master’s degree in Journalism from Ball State University and an undergraduate Communications degree from Indiana State University. He and his wife Barbara have been married 53 years, have two daughters and four grandchildren and are active members of Englewood Baptist Church in Jackson where he teaches an adult Bible study class and serves as a deacon.
