New GNC in Henry Co.

#cefjacksontn – We are extremely excited to share some good news! This week we started the first new Good News Club that is part of our “50 in FIVE” ministry campaign. God blessed us with a wonderful team that comes primarily from Maplewood Baptist Church in Paris, TN. There is no doubt in my mind that God has made this connection and has ordained this team and is empowering them to do a great work in their community.

The team is led by Jessica Mathis and I would ask you to pray for her and for Barry, Jan, Elizabeth, and Carol as they share Jesus with the children of their area. They are working specifically with a elementary school near them. On the first club day, they had 12 children present and anticipate a possible total of 24 next week! This starts a good relationship between our Chapter and the school system in Henry County. We are grateful for their superintendent being open to our involvement within their school system. Now, let me finish by asking you to pray specifically for God to shower many blessings upon this GNC team, their church affiliations, the school system, and especially upon the children that they minister to through this Good News Club. Amen.
