Pray With Confidence
Prayer is an essential part of our relationship with our Heavenly Father. As we study the Bible, we are encouraged to pray often and to come together in prayer. In Hebrews 4:16 it says, “Let us then with confidence draw near the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”
On Thursday, May 9th, 2024, a local prayer circle led by Pastor Currie gathered in our office to pray for Child Evangelism Fellowship locally and globally, for our staff, and for our upcoming summer ministry season. At the time of a meeting, a gentleman came off the street seeking hope and encouragement and joined the prayer circle. The group prayed over him as well, spoke their testimonies, shared a meal, and gathered some better clothes for him as he continued his journey to his next destination.
We are thankful to this organization for lifting our ministry in prayer and ask that you join us in praying that the Lord will lead our volunteers to the hearts ready to receive the Gospel Message this summer. Furthermore, do not be afraid to approach the Father with confidence whenever you find yourself in a time of need.
