Unity Baptist Church
#cefjacksontn – I was blessed this morning to visit with a group of men who meet in the Oakfield community at Unity Baptist Church. Some of the men are members of the church, others are like-minded brothers in the Lord who belong to other churches. My new friend, Jared Okoth invited me to come to meet with them and share in a time of Bible study. After that, he asked me to tell this group about the ministry of CEF and how we might be able to partner together to reach children and their families for the Lord. Two distinct possibilities arose from our conversations. One would involve a church approaching an area elementary school and the second thought was to start an organic Good News Club® in the community near UBC. I am excited about both possibilities!
Now, these are preliminary talks and we will all seek the Lord’s direction as we move forward. I am grateful for all opportunities to share the ministry with area churches and I sense the Lord will open more doors in the year ahead. Continue to pray for us as we seek His will. Amen.
